This research, titled "Scientists' Contributions to the Development of Artificial Intelligence 1956-1995," traces the history of scientific innovations undertaken by a number of scientists and researchers, and the resulting advancements in artificial intelligence. The research examines the earliest scientific efforts and studies that introduced the concepts of artificial intelligence in their earliest form, leading to more significant research since the mid-20th century. This research has resulted in remarkable developments in artificial intelligence programs and the expansion of their applications, supporting and accelerating digital transformation across various institutions and sectors. Digital transformation relies on employing modern technologies to improve performance and develop services, while artificial intelligence has contributed to data analysis and the extraction of results, enabling institutions to make more accurate and effective decisions in shorter timeframes. The research consisted of an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The first section followed the intellectual and scientific beginnings of artificial intelligence up to 1956. The second section addressed the role of scientists in the development of artificial intelligence research from 1956 to 1980. The last section focused on the contributions of scientists to the development of artificial intelligence applications from 1980 to 1995. The conclusion presents the most important findings
